Tours and our Gift Shop are available Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00am–5:00pm and Sunday 1:00pm–5:00pm.
Please note that our ticket booth closes at 4:30 pm. 
We are closed on major holidays and Mondays.

Daily Admission Fee*

 Adults – per person  $15
 Adults Group Discount (25 or more adults) –  per  person  $10
 Seniors (age 65+) – per person  $5
 College students (with ID) – per person  $6
 Youth (grades 4-12 living in Jefferson County,  Alabama)              Free
 Youth (grades 4-12 living outside Jefferson  County, Alabama)  $5
 Children (grade 3 and younger)  Free

* Sundays are first-come, first served for everyone.  Individuals and small groups (25 or less) are donation only.  Groups pay standard admission ($10) all days.

Ask about AAA,  Smithsonian and Military discounts. We are also a member of Blue Star Museums program, which offers free admission to the nation’s active duty military personnel, including National Guard and Reserve, and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day annually.

Large Groups (Non-School Groups)

Groups with 25 adults or more are $10 per person with an advanced reservation.

You must book groups with 25 or more in advance.  We book on the hour and the half  hour.  Contact our Group Tour coordinator by filling out a reservation form below, emailing grouptours@bcri.org, or phoning 866-328-9696 x 204.

School Groups

Learn about the Birmingham Civil Rights Movement through a
field trip to BCRI. 

Payment

Payment is due at the time of your tour.  Major credit cards, checks from an organization, and cash accepted.  Individuals and small groups may purchase tickets & prepay via our website.  Large groups may phone our Ticket Booth to pre-pay, 866-328-9696 x 229.  Email grouptours@bcri.org if you need an invoice.Contact the Group Tour Coordinator at 866-328-9696 x 204.

Parking

There is street parking around BCRI and free parking for cars and buses behind our building off of Fifteenth Street North.
